Yesterday I blogged Becca and Casey’s sweet e-session and I am so happy to share with you their gorgeous wedding which took place at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Virginia. The day was a bit of a miracle as the weather report kept saying it was going to rain right at their ceremony time. I rarely have rainy weddings and I was hoping this would hold true. As Becca walked down the aisle, some of the flowers from the Chuppah flew off and the wind started to gust. I felt a slight bit anxious for them, hoping that the storm would hold off just a little longer. As the ceremony proceeded, the skies grew darker, which made for dramatic and beautiful pictures. Just as the ceremony concluded and they walked up the aisle, the wind really picked up and we did all the family pictures in about 10 minutes. That was the fastest I have ever got them done. As we finished up and headed back to the barn for the reception, as soon as I stepped foot in the barn, the rain started to come. All I could think was, “Thank you God for keeping the rain away!” Because Becca and Casey did their formal portraits before their ceremony, we were able to capture candid photos during cocktail hour and a large group photo in the tasting room. The reception was nothing short of perfect. Katie Joga of Pure Whimsy Events handled every detail of their affair and as you can see from the images, she did an incredible job. Enjoy this vineyard wedding and if you haven’t been to Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, you should check it out. Congratulations Casey and Becca and I hope your globe trotting brings you many adventures and much love!
