Rachel & Bryan were such a joy to capture. I first met Rachel and her family while we lived abroad in Panama a few years ago. At that time Rachel was a college student and would come to work at the US Embassy during her summer months off. She was always so cheerful and had a smile on her face every time I saw her. Her younger sister Megan was the same way and was our children’s baby sitter. When we moved back to Virginia I happened to walk into Charming Charlies and Rachel was there. It was nice to catch up a little bit and see that life was going well for her.
Bryan and Rachel met at college. At the time, Rachel was off limits because she was in a long term relationship. That didn’t mean that Bryan didn’t have a crush on her though. When they happened to run in to each other after college and Rachel was no longer in that relationship, Bryan wasted no time and asked her out. One thing led to another and they ended up getting engaged. They were married this last June at the Mt. Zion Church in Aldie and their reception was at Brambleton Regional Park. Congratulations Rachel & Bryan!

Bryan, I can tell she takes your breath away.
They were like watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. This was the most coordinated first dance I’ve ever seen!
Yes, he picked her up.
These are beautifully done. I love the portraits done in and outside the car. What an awesome “prop”. Great posing and expressions of love. This look like a great group of folks and a great venue.
