I remember when Rachel first called me. She was so excited because she just got engaged to Pete and their wedding had been set for September. As most of my weddings come to me, Rachel and Pete were referred to me by one of my brides. I am always so appreciative that my couples continue to refer my services.
Rachel and Pete met through their service in the military and Pete is still currently serving. Last fall I got an anxious call from Pete because he was originally scheduled for deployment shortly after their wedding in September. Pete had just found out that his deployment date was moved up to April. This could only mean one thing, their wedding date would also need to be moved to April. It almost seemed an impossibility for me to accommodate the moved date but as good fortune would have it, schedules were shifted around and I was still able to shoot their wedding! That is the good fortune that surrounds these two. Good things just seem to come by them naturally, almost without effort. A change in plans, a shift in direction, no problem. They carry on with grace and ease that makes being around these two a privilege and a true joy.
Their wedding took place after a few very wet weekends in March and the weather could not have been more perfect. Their day was beautiful from start to finish. All the love and support from family and friends was heartfelt and all encompassing. I can’t wait to see where these two go in life! Congratulations Rachel and Pete!
