Heather & Jan met through their mutual love of tennis. Admittedly they were smitten with each other from the start and incorporating tennis into their wedding nuptials was the perfect way to highlight their love for the game and each other. Kelley Truxel of Event Studios pulled off a seamless event at Bluemont Vineyards. While the weather was raining earlier in the day, the clouds broke and we were given the most soft and warm sunlight to capture some sunlit portraits. Enjoy!

Because Heather & Jan opted to see each other for the first time, there was plenty of time to get portraits of the two of them alone. I love it when my couples make this choice because I know they will have more photos for themselves.
This was the prettiest orchid bouquet I have seen so far.
Loved this ring shot idea from my second shooter, Li Chen.
The bride’s brother was hilarious! I am pretty sure I had tears from laughing so hard.
We stepped out to get a few sunset shots and it was totally worth the ten minutes we took to capture these.
Love these two images from my second photographer, Li Chen.
