Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! You know I went to the store this morning to get my husband a Valentine’s card, and whelp, apparently I’m a little late on this. The cards were so picked over, and while I did find him a card, I can’t say it’s the best ever. Sorry honey! I got to thinking about this and you know what, it’s such a good sign that they were practically sold out of cards. It means there’s a whole lot of love going around today!
We’re going to have a meal at home, but I did splurge and get some lobster and a standing rib roast because the way to my man’s heart is definitely food. Hopefully the roast turns out okay!! It seems like the only beef I am good at cooking is prime rib and steaks on the grill. Wish me luck!
I wanted to share with you this beautiful spring time wedding from this past year at The Barns at Hamilton Station Vineyards. You guys, I have photographed at The Barns quite a bit, but this place in spring is magical! Everything is blossoming and it’s the perfect backdrop for “blooming love.” Yes I did just type that sappy bit. Cassi and Patrick’s wedding day was so filled with emotion. Patrick is such a sweetheart to Cassi and the whole time he was like, “are you sure you want to marry me?” I think he was still in disbelief that this babe of a girl, wanted to marry him. The truth is that Cassi and Patrick are so well equally matched. Patrick’s humility and Cassi’s generosity make them two of the most enjoyable people to be around. And the day just got better as we went into the reception and Patrick perfectly reenacted the Backstreet Boys music videos. Ahhh, it was a wedding I LOVED! Shout out to these amazing people who made the day so flawless:
