I’m the type of girl that if everyone has it, I probably don’t want it. This applies to almost everything in my life. I don’t know why that is, but as an example, I remember wanting to paint some walls in my house gray and the very next month Better Homes and Garden’s color of the month in the magazine was gray. Pretty soon gray walls and gray accessories were popping up everywhere on pinterest (disclaimer, I do have gray kitchen cabinets). I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting to stay on trend, so don’t misunderstand. For some reason I just want everything that I do to be different; not in a loud die my hair blue kind of way, but in a subtle, that is “Me” kind of way. When we set out to build our house, I knew I didn’t want the standard dark wood floors and it’s not because they’re not pretty, but I just wanted something different. I suppose it speaks to what my mom always called my “independent personality.” So when I stumbled upon this unique scent, it didn’t take me long to decide it would become part of my favorite things. It may have something to do with my Norwegian heritage, I don’t know, but I simply love this scent! It has an infusion of Norwegian wildflowers with a light touch of fruity overtones and the combination is pretty killer. Yesterday I went to grab a fruit smoothie and the guy at the checkout counter even asked me what I was wearing. It’s noticeable and subtle, all at the same time. You can get yours at Nordstrom, or if you’re going to Disney anytime soon, go to Norway in Epcot and pick yours up there.
