I have a confession to make and if you’re my client you already know this, I am so behind on blogging my sessions. I am trying to keep pretty up to date with my weddings but even those I have to get caught up on my wedding blogs! I may end up doing multiple blog posts in one day, or I may combine blog posts from all the family and newborn sessions I have been doing. I’ll figure it out, but if you’re wondering why you haven’t been featured, just know that I am going to do my best to feature you, it just may not be as quickly as normal because I am in the busiest season of the year.
This little cutie pie came in last month and even though he gave us a run for our money, we came away with some fantastic shots of his newborn goodness. I love capturing this time in a baby’s life. They are so fresh and sweet but how quickly their newborn features change which is why it’s critical to capture them within the first couple of weeks of life. Big brother was extremely well behaved and made getting images of the two of them together fairly easy. Enjoy the post!
What lens do you use for your newborn sessions?
Hi Julie! I tend to always use my 24-70mm. It works well in tight spaces if you’re in a client’s home, but most of my newborns are photographed at my studio.
