I have known this family for 6 years and I can’t believe how quickly time flies. Their daughter was born around the same time as my youngest son. I remember her when she was just a little baby, all bundled up to take her daily walks through the neighborhood with her dog. When she would pass by our place I would visit with her parents and try to catch her attention. She would always stare back with a very serious face as if she was saying: “Look lady, you don’t want to mess with me. I’m in no mood for cutesy baby talk!” It cracked me up every time because I could never get a smile out of her. She was one serious baby. How things have changed! She is so fun and warm. As you can tell, she gives her smiles freely now. Enjoy the views of Virginia in the fall. It’s just getting started 🙂

And I love that her “Nana” came along to take some photos with her. These are photos I think they will both cherish for a long time.
