So if you know what movie and song the post title is from, leave a comment and you’ll be the lucky winner of a beautiful photo frame Christmas ornament! That is a hint by the way 🙂 These two sisters are exactly the opposite of each other. Kind of reminds me of me and my sister 🙂 Though you wouldn’t know it from the photos, the younger sister is a very determined girl. She is self directed and she will be one of those people that gets exactly what she wants out of life. She is definitely not going to let the fact that she is the younger sister hold her back from anything! I love that about her. I guess that’s how I was too. The oldest sister is as sweet as they come, cooperative, and very patient with her younger sister. She always did what I asked and was eager to please. Two different people, such unique personalities, but oh so much fun! Lastly we were able to grab a few snaps of their little brother. Even though we wanted to focus on the sisters for this session, we couldn’t leave him out! Enjoy!
If I’m not mistaken, that’s a quote from “My Sister’s Keeper”, where photography is almost another character in the film. (I added you to FB when you saved the day for our family friends, Buck and Sue Simpsons’ daughter Renee’s wedding… Ever since, I can’t stop checking out your work, you have an amazing gift and I know who I will be calling if I ever need a photographer! 🙂 My best, Joanna Bellerdine
“Sisters” from “White Christmas”. I know all the words as I too am a younger sister and the two of us sang this song often. “Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters. Never had to have a chaperone, no sir. I’m there to keep my eye on her. Caring, sharing, every little thing that we are wearing. When a certain gentleman arrived from Rome, she wore the dress and I stayed home. All kinds of weather we stick together the same in the rain and sun. Two different faces but in tight places we think and we act as one. Those who’ve seen us, know that not a thing could come between us. Many men have tried to split us up but no one can. Lord, help the mister who comes between me and my sister, And, Lord help the sister who comes between me and my man.
Ding ding ding!! LaVonne you are correct and the winner of a lovely photo frame Christmas ornament 🙂 White Christmas is one of my favorite movies 🙂
