I had fun hanging out with these two in Georgetown. It was probably one of my most varied engagement sessions to date, simply because we were shooting in the late evening and it carried us through till it was dark. I loved it though because I got to play around with off camera flash which is so much fun. It’s amazing how different, almost editorial photos become when you bring a flash out on a shoot. I really love it and I think I will have to play around at night more.
These two are getting married this summer and are the nicest couple and funny too. The guys are always the first to poop out on a shoot, though I have to say Ehsan was really great. When we were nearing the end I would say, “Okay, we’re nearly there.” And Sanober would say: “Take as long as you need.” Ehsan would smile and that’s how I came to the solid conclusion that their marriage will be a good one. Don’t you think? Anytime the guy is willing to do whatever it takes, especially with photos, you know he’s a keeper.
The one problem I discovered while shooting in Georgetown is that it is so hard not to window shop while shooting :). I saw these awesome cowhide chairs that would have gone so well with my cowhide rug. Yes I love animal skins and I’m not ashamed to admit it!
I’m so happy for you two and I hope you enjoy some of my favorites.
I think you should be in a print spread somewhere…. just sayin’
