This past Thanksgiving I wanted to take some time and reflect on all of the blessings in my life. I realized after looking through my fall photos from September till now, I have been so blessed to see and photograph so many couples, families, and children. I have had such a busy fall with photo shoots every week but I realize when I look back on these images, how much I love what I do and how honored I am to preserve family memories for generations to come. It is humbling and wonderful all at …
Newborns
Mr. “C” is cute as can be: Ashburn Newborn Photographer
This cute baby boy came into my Loudoun Virginia newborn studio last month and was the perfect little subject. He actually was a very big subject for being a newborn. He weighed in at 10 lbs. 12 oz. making him my biggest newborn to date. I loved his little chubby cheeks and very agreeable personality. I also loved that they brought his dad's kilt from their wedding. What a great way to use a family heirloom in his newborn session. Enjoy! …
Sweet little babe: Ashburn Newborn Photography
I have had a bunch of newborns come through my Loudoun newborn photography studio over the last couple of months. And I hate to admit that I can't seem to find the time to blog every one of them. Hopefully I can make up for lost time and get some of these cuties on the blog. This little one was a joy to capture and such a good little model for me. I loved meeting her family and capturing these first professional photographs for this Ashburn family. Enjoy! …
Emma & Ryan make cute babies: Loudoun Newborn Photographer

Sometimes babies come with no immediate likeness to either parent, but not in this case. Joe is the sweetest baby and did such a stellar job with his newborn portraits. He settled in so nicely and he gave me a smile in his first image which told me, it was going to be a fabulous session. Emma is such a good mom to Joe. She just loves on him and you can tell …
Little Miss “R”: Northern Virginia Newborn Studio Photography
This little one was unbelievably perfect for her newborn session. I was a little nervous about her newborn session only because every photo her mom posted on facebook, she seemed bright eyed and super alert. She was slightly past the ideal window for newborn portraits (7-10 days), but she was such a good baby and poser. I loved capturing her! Her parents, Joanna and Jonathan, were married just a couple of years ago and I had the privilege of being their wedding photographer. Being able to …
