This week the weather is finally turning from winter to spring. I am excited for this change for many reasons and one of them is the cute new pair of sandals sitting in my closet. I tried them on the other day and could almost feel the warm sun on my toes, almost! Even though I am looking forward to spring, I also love winter. Usually I have winter weddings and this winter I didn’t, which made me appreciate the snow even more. When we get a good dumping of snow, I want to warm up the hot chocolate, pull out the sleds, and most of all, I want to grab my camera and photograph. While standing in line at the grocery store in preparation for one of the winter storms, I was talking with the lady in front of me and she said, “Don’t you just find the snow so romantic?” And I could honestly respond, “Yes I do. Very much so!” And to prove just how lovely the snow is, I want to share the last bit of winter with this snowy anniversary shoot. Jill and Matt were so good about coming out and taking pictures at the drop of a hat. When it comes to snow, it’s hard to plan for photos! I love what we captured and I really think every couple deserves an opportunity to have an anniversary shoot, to rekindle those feelings that sometimes get too little attention with the business of life. Just look at these photos and I think you’ll agree that snow is romantic indeed!
